I would highly recommend Lake Norman Custom Scapes. We had them install a 550 sqft paver patio and 10 ‘ x 10’ sitting wall and couldn’t be happier. Adam was great to work with, and his guys did an excellent job. Our yard has a minor grade that made it hard to tell/visualize if we would need to build a small one-block retaining wall to elevate one side of the patio. Adam walked me through the options and created an itemized estimate based on best and worst-case scenarios once we started moving dirt around. We ended up not needing the retaining wall from a structural standpoint, but since Adam laid out our options, we were able to make the decision on the fly to add the wall anyway from an aesthetic standpoint. I appreciated how flexible Adam and his guys were in making small changes on the fly as we saw the project unfold.

When we moved to our (old) home on the lake in Mooresville, the drainage was terrible. One of the garage walls was wet and leaking, and the crawl space in the house looked like an EPA disaster. We called several companies to assess and repair the damage, and Adam White, the owner of Lake Norman Custom Scapes, was the only person to return our call. He came within a few days to look at the situation and make recommendations on how to resolve our drainage problems. He told us it would be a few weeks before the repairs could be made, but he arrived on the day he said he would. His crew was professional and talented, and the job was done right because we’ve not had a drop of water in the garage or crawl space since.

We were so pleased with the work that we also had his team rebuild our bluestone sidewalks (and lay new ones), install landscaping lighting and build new retaining walls and steps. All beautifully finished in the time frame he said it would be.

Lake Norman Custom Scapes just finished a large project on my property. They installed a French drain, repaired another drainage area, built a stairway using large stone steps, built a river rock drain, and installed over 80 yards of mulch. Adam was on site every day. He and his crew were professional, courteous, punctual, and efficient. Lake Norman Custom Scapes did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations. I plan on using them again and recommend them.

I had a major drainage issue that has been driving me crazy since I bought my home a year ago. Adam came out and knew immediately what needed to be done and gave me a fair estimate. Adam and his team came out this morning to do the work, and I could not be happier with the results. After digging up my yard and part of my garden just this morning to install the drain pipe, you wouldn’t even know they were here! All of my mulch was put back in place like before, and the team cleaned up any remaining dirt from my driveway. The only sign that they were here is the area where they seeded my lawn. Top quality work done quickly. You can’t beat that!

Adam and his guys built a concrete patio in our backyard off of our screen porch and also another small project for a French drain problem we had. We are very happy with the results and their work. The patio looks great, and they also put new sod around it. We are very happy with his work.
